There are 600+ languages and all these languages have different uses like styling websites , creating mobile apps , implementing programs for lets say in machine learning .So the use of these languages depends on whether it is a back-end and front-end programming language .I would suggest you dig deep into a few languages you want to learn and then learn how you can implement them by knowing all the data structures for a specific language and how you can come up with algorithms that actually solve a real world problem :)
