SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft, which is focusing on mars mission, and launching satellites like renowned falcon heavy;
Boring Company, an infrastructure and tunnel construction company, focused on digging holes for transit tunnels to reduce traffic; and
NeuraLink, a neurotechnology company which develops high bandwidth and safe brain-machine interfaces.
Musk used to dedicate approximately 100 hours a week, which is quite enough to add extra value in any project or life. Elon prefers multitasking while having lunch, meeting, tweets or mails by managing the quality work thoroughly. To enhance productivity in limited, he prefers multitasking while lunch.
Just like Elon, (Aristotle firstly introduced the approach), Nikola Tesla, Edison, Johannes Gutenberg, military strategist John Boyd, Euclid & Feynman with many others; for the efficient work, tackling challenging problems and to come up with the incomparable solutions.
Not to mention, none of them utilised this approach more effectively like the Musk did for the future and recent problems.

First Principles Thinking
First principles thinking, which is sometimes called reasoning from first principles, is one of the most effective approach you can apply to even understand the toughest problems and to come up with most efficient solution of the existence. The approach which gives you an opportunity to think about the root of problem like our ancestors did and result something significant for humanity.
“I tend to approach things from a physics framework,” Musk said in an interview. “Physics teaches you to reason from first principles rather than by analogy. So I said, okay, let’s look at the first principles. What is a rocket made of?

“As you get older, your obligations increase,” Musk said. “So I would encourage you to take risks now, to do something bold, you won’t regret it.” As you get older, risk-taking also impacts your family and children. Not to mention, you'll have much less time on your hands.
“Don’t just follow the trend,” Musk said. The most successful companies focus on creating new innovations. They don't try to chase the competition.
